“The 25 Workout”

Hi everyone!

Here’s a homemade workout I made,and you only need one item:

-a box (or something high enough to jump over)

This will be my first exercise I would post here,but it won’t be a long one:

  • 25 Cross Jacks
  • 25 Jump Overs
  • 25 Plank Bunny Hops
  • 25 Froggers
  • 25  Side Hops + Jabs
  • 25 Alternating Side Lunges
  • 25 Jump Overs
  • 25 Cross Jacks
  • 25 Squat + Heel Clicks

*Challenge*

Try to finish this in under 5 minutes!

4.Rock Climbing (Those who think indoor climbing is a joke):

A study in 1997 showed that cardio and energy consumed in rock climbing is similar to running at a pace between 8 and 11 minutes per mile.Plus,also helps with weight loss saying that a 155-pound person burns about 818 calories hourly during a rock-climbing ascent and 596 calories per hour while rappelling.

5.Outdoor (Or Indoor) Ice skating:

I’ve went skating at least twice,but I still cannot get over the anxiety of falling backward.

For 2 hours I would only hang on to the railings and circle around (don’t be like me)…

To get a long story short:

  • Ice skating burns from 300-650 calories per hour.
  • A 150lb person will burn between 600 and 800 calories while skating for one hour, which is about the equivalent of a five mile run.
  • Balance,of course.(Why it’s not helping mine,¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )

5.Hiking=Amazing

6.Obstacle Courses

Here’s an interesting themed obstacle course if regular 5k’s sound boring to you.

Spartan Race.

The homepage doesn’t tell you exactly whats in the race,but does the say key obstacle courses to look out for:

Atlas Carry

Basically,you squat low to grab a giant stone,carry it to the other flag,then complete 5 PROPER burpees.Failure to do any of these results in 30 penalty burpees.

Fire Jump

Title says it all.
